More than a physical challenge

The Nūl Peace Ride is a 22 day journey across Sri Lanka combining 12 days of cycling and 10 days of community engagement. Riders travel more than 1,000 kilometres across the island, building trust, partnerships and shared understanding through dialogue and connection.

Along the way, riders engage with diverse communities including Tamil, Sinhala, Malayaga Tamil (Hill Country Tamil), Muslim, Burgher, Vedda and other groups. Through community visits, conversations, workshops and shared activities, the ride fosters intercultural dialogue while also helping us listen, learn and understand local realities so that Nūl's initiatives remain community led and aligned with real needs.

Each kilometre helps raise funds for Nūl's education, economic and equity based initiatives, including the development of a 50 acre community hub in Sri Lanka. The Peace Ride invites participants to become change makers, learning deeply about community building while contributing to a more connected and inclusive future.
